I’m so excited to share the music videos that I created for Mark Allen-Piccolo’s “Under the Cherry Tree” and “Yer goin up”.
For “Under the Cherry Tree” I focused on aerial video from Austin, a recent trip to Upstate New York, and from the San Juan Islands in Washington State. Places that hold a very special place in my heart that highlight the floating, glitchy, and always dynamic nature of Mark’s gorgeous music.
“Yer goin up” uses B-roll from films of the mid-20th century to show a wandering Mark flying on a bi-plane through the Bay Area and beyond. Mark dodges alligators, hides from pumas, and wrestles lions. It’s a lot to take in but I hope you like the adventure :)
Mark is one of the newest members of the excellent and growing BotCave Records label. BotCave is an Oakland label that specializes in helping unique and bada** artists produce and distribute their work. They’re up to some wonderful audio mischief!
